1148 first graders stepped on the threshold of schools in Ruse

1148 pupils will enter the first grade in Ruse Municipality in the school year 2022/2023. Today, the beginning of the school process in all kindergartens and schools was celebrated. Mayor Pencho Milkov gave a special greeting to the children from the ''Constatin-Kiril Philosopher'' Secondary School.
"Dear first graders, besides learning to read and write, here you will find your most loyal friends with whom you will share one of the best times of your life. And you, teachers and parents, do not stop believing in children. Only if we support them in their dreams will they grow up brave, confident and kind," he said.
The deputy mayors of Ruse Municipality also welcomed students after their summer vacation. Zlatomira Stefanova welcomed the graduates of the Vocational School of River Shipbuilding and Shipping and the children from the kindergarten "Snezhanka". Encho Enchev shared the celebration with students and parents at ''Angel Kanchev'' Primary School, Dimitar Nedev at ''Hristo Botev'' Secondary School, and Magdalena Ilieva wished a successful year for everyone at ''Vasil Levski'' Secondary School.
The "Municipal Strategy for Education Development 2022-2026" includes several priorities for the school year 2022/2023. The municipal education programme provides an additional 100 000 BGN LV for kindergartens and 20 thousand BGN LV for schools for the budget year 2022. Another 180 thousand BGN LV. will be invested in the construction of a platform for children with limited mobility in the ''Toma Kardjiev'' Primary School.
The policy for improving the qualification of educators will be continued by organizing trainings on Google Workspace, LEGO, kindergarten websites and robotics classes in schools;
After the successful introduction of cloud technologies in all 18 kindergartens, the Municipality will work on their gradual introduction in schools. The new way of working is already in operation in the ''Lyuben Karavelov'' Primary School, ''Nikola Obretenov'' Primary School, ''Constantine-Kiril Philosopher'' Secondary School, ''Prof. Vesselin Stoyanov" National school of arts , "Geo Milev" English language high school, in the process are "Ivan Vazov" Primary School and "Otets Paisii'' Primary School - Ruse.
Priority is also the introduction of single-shift education in all schools, as the "Ivan Vazov" Primary school is the last one where material - technical conditions for this are provided. Ruse Municipality assisted the same to happen in "Friedrich Schiller"- German language school.
