A new playground will be enjoyed by children and young people from the Day Center "Milosardie"

Today in Ruse, a children's playground was opened at the Day Center for Children and/or Youth with Disabilities "Milosardie" at the Ruse Catholic organization "Caritas".
It is part of the project of RKO Caritas and the "Renovabis" organization: "Improving working conditions, early diagnosis and promoting the activity of the Day Center for children and/or youth with disabilities of Caritas Ruse", which aims to increase the quality of the social service offered for children with special needs from Ruse Municipality.
"Thanks to "Caritas - Ruse" not only for the material, but especially for the spiritual support. Seeing all of you who care so heartily for families and children who need support brings a lot of strength and inspiration. Keep doing good!" Mayor Pencho Milkov addressed the staff of the center.
"The most important thing for children is to feel accepted and to grow up in a calm, family atmosphere," said the manager of the center, Teodora Gerganova, and emphasized that one of the focuses of their work is cooperation with parents.
The center is visited by 30 children aged 2 to 18 years. It also has a kinesitherapy room, incl. a jumping trampoline and a variety of exercise equipment, a multi-sensory room, a hot tub, a Montessori corner and several hands-on areas to help children and young people cope better with everyday activities.
The peculiar children's holiday was also attended by the deputy mayor Encho Enchev, the regional governor Anatoli Stanev, the chairman of the Municipal Council Ivo Pazardzhiev, the director of "Caritas" - Ruse Stefan Markov, His Eminence the Bishop of Nikopol Monsignor Strahil Kavalenov, parents, children and friends of " Caritas".
