A new point of the Children's Dairy Kitchen has opened in  quarter "Sredna Kula "

Those interested can sign up for the service on the spot

Parents of children in quarter "Sredna Kula " can now take advantage of the newly opened Children's Dairy Kitchen in the Town Hall building (ul. "Yordan Yovkov" № 12).

"The neighbourhood is growing and more young families are living there. We wanted to make it easier for them to take care of the children and I hope that the point will be useful to them," said Mayor Pencho Milkov. He noted that the idea was the mayor's Bozhidar Yotov and he supported it without hesitation.

The new service will enable families to pick up hot meals for their children without having to travel to any of the other sites in the municipality. The residents of the quarter will also be able to benefit from the convenience "Dolapite" and the nearby village of Basarbovo.

"It is a great facilitation for us. We used the service here in the neighborhood 11 years ago when my son was young. It subsequently ceased to be offered. I am glad that after the long break, the parents and I managed to submit applications, the municipal units responded and after almost a month the point is already a fact", said Miglena Kostova, mother of three boys.

The room was renovated with municipal funds and the mayor assisted in equipping it according to the requirements of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency. Its opening hours are from 11:30 to 12 every weekday.

14 children are already enrolled. A three-course menu is provided for them in two age groups: up to 1 year and from 1 year to 3 years of age. For children with established allergies to various food components and a proven need for a specific diet, an individual dietary menu will be developed.

The food is distributed by medical professionals who will advise parents on child nutrition issues as needed.

The registration of new users and the purchase of coupons is carried out according to a pre-prepared quarterly schedule, published on the official website of the Ruse Municipality and at the distribution point.
