A public discussion of the updated Integrated Development Plan 2021–2027 was held in the Municipality of Ruse

A public discussion of the draft of the Integrated Development Plan of the Municipality of Ruse 2021-2027 was held in the St. George Hall in the local administration building.
The meeting presented the process of updating the plan, as well as the changes that occurred in this regard. The update does not change the vision for the development of the Municipality of Ruse, the strategic goals and priorities. Only the Implementation Program and its annexes are updated, in order to include new projects/project ideas that can be financed with additional resources.
The event was attended by Deputy Mayor Zlatomira Stefanova, Ivaylo Kadyshev, Director of the Directorate "Economy, Investments, International Cooperation and Projects", representatives of interested parties - the academic community, the non-governmental sector, business and citizens.
During the update process, all interested parties were given the opportunity to submit new project ideas in July 2025, by completing and submitting a Project Idea Sheet, which was published on the website of the Ruse Municipality. As a result, 24 proposals for updating the Integrated Development Plan of the Municipality Implementation Program (Appendix 1) were received from organizations and citizens. With the approval of the working group formed by order of the Mayor of the Ruse Municipality, 21 of the project ideas were included in the Integrated Development Plan of the Municipality of the Ruse Municipality.
The next step is to submit the updated Integrated Development Plan for approval by the Municipal Council - Ruse.
