An information meeting on the topic "Information System for Management and Monitoring" was held at the University of Ruse

The District Information Point – Ruse together with the Information Systems Department of the Central Coordination Unit Directorate of the Council of Ministers successfully held an information meeting on the topic "Information System for Management and Monitoring (UMIS)", which took place at the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev". The event brought together lecturers and students who are interested in the opportunities for funding through European programs.

The lecturer at the meeting was Georgi Stratiev - Head of the Information Systems Department at the Central Coordination Unit Directorate of the Council of Ministers, who presented details on the functioning of the UMIS and the innovations in the system for the new programming period 2021-2027.

During the event, the main operational programs for the period 2021-2027, which will be managed through the UMIS, and the importance of the system for the effective implementation of these programs were discussed. The innovations in the sections of the "Electronic Application" module were also presented, and the attendees got acquainted with the new functions and improvements in the electronic application, which will facilitate the process for all stakeholders.

 After the presentation, the participants had the opportunity to ask their questions related to the UMIS and the application processes for European funding.

The event offered useful information for all attendees who work or are interested in funding under European programs. It was also an opportunity to exchange experience and deepen the understanding of the new opportunities and tools that the UMIS provides to all participants in the process of project management and monitoring.
