The Municipality of Ruse purchased and delivered housing vans for the extremely needy

Two residential vans, intended for temporary residence of extremely needy citizens, were purchased and delivered to the Municipality of Ruse. The idea for their acquisition was the mayor Pencho Milkov's, with the aim being to continuously increase the municipality's ability to react in emergency situations.
The vans are made of a metal supporting structure, with the walls and roof made of sandwich panels with insulation. They are 6 m long, 2.40 m wide and 2.50 m high. The living containers are equipped with a sanitary unit with a shower cabin, a sink with a sectional kitchen cabinet and a built-in stove with two sockets, as well as a boiler with a capacity of 50 l. The vans have aluminum and PVC windows and doors, and have an electrical installation, including lighting, sockets and an electrical panel. The floor covering is laminated parquet, under which are arranged horizontal boards, waterproof plywood and an insulating pad. They are about to be equipped with a bed, bed linen and blankets.
Among the priorities laid down in the management program remains the restoration of the capacity of the local administration to take care of citizens in the event of disasters, crises and other extraordinary circumstances, for which the necessary funds will be allocated from the municipal budget next year.
