The "Discover Ruse" project reveals the charisma of Ruse in the language of young people
The young director and vlogger - Chris Zahariev will share his latest project - the short comedy "One Elevator Distance" this Sunday (July 24) at 9 p.m. under Vitiya Most in Ruse.
The event has free entry and is part of the "Discover Ruse" project of the "Gradored" association, which aims to unlock in young people the urge to travel, discovering unknown destinations or those that we have long wanted to visit. It was implemented under the "Knowledge and Growth" program of the "Ruse - City of the Free Spirit" Foundation and "Econt Express", also supported by Motoretta - No. 1 Electric scooters in Bulgaria.
It is surprising how many young people have never visited Ruse. This is the conclusion reached by the founders of the civic organization Gradored - Desislava Todorova, Veselin Yanchev and Miroslav Dimitrov. Often the reason lies in the remoteness of the city from other popular tourist destinations and the lack of sufficiently attractively presented information to cause young people to head to Ruse. With the "Discover Ruse" project, by the end of the year, Gradored will invite a number of influencers to assist them in promoting the city as a tourist destination among young Bulgarians.
Their first guest is Chris Zahariev. He is known to the public as the boy who travels around Bulgaria and "gets lost" in it - literally. Chris rose to fame on Youtube with his film 'Getting Lost on Purpose' which has over 2 million views to date. He often talks about those places around the country that are not so commercial, but hide a charge and meaning to be felt. His mission as a guest of Gradored association is to show his followers on social networks exactly that charisma that Ruse hides in himself, presented in the language of the young.
The film "One Elevator Away" has already won the audience at the Cannes festival, the International Short Film Festival "In the palace", it is also the winner of the best screenplay award at the International Student Film Festival "CineMAiubit" and promises a lot of emotions.
The projection is realized with the help of the Municipality of Ruse, Municipal Enterprise "Ruse Art", "Rivers of the City" and Motoretta.
