Final: The funds for the improvement of inter-block spaces in the municipality of Ruse are increasing

An increase in the funds for grants to the Civic Initiatives Fund was voted by the municipal councilors. So far, the support is 300 leva, and in the future it will be doubled to 600 leva.

With 29 "yes" votes, the councilors gave an opportunity and an incentive to the citizens of Ruse with more funds to actively participate in the renovation of the spaces between the blocks. "The meaning of the Civic Initiatives Fund is for one person to unite others around themselves and together to do something useful for the community," said the Mayor of Ruse Pencho Milkov.

The Civic Initiatives Fund was established in 2021 in order for citizens to work directly with the Municipality and to modernize the spaces in the city. Those wishing to apply for funding must fill in the necessary documents and submit them to the Information Center of Ruse Municipality (6 Svoboda Square).
