Folklore Ensemble "Ruschukliyche" successfully completed its creative season with two international competitions

Just a month after being awarded as one of the 10 finalists of the prestigious National Competition "TOP 10 Bulgarian Dance Folklore" 2024 for amateur groups and performers, the Folklore Ensemble "Ruschukliyche" at the Municipal Children's Center for Culture and Art took part in two international folklore festivals. With these performances, the active season for the performers from Ruse ended.

The youth formation of the ensemble showed talent at the XXIV International Folklore Festival in Montenegro, where it competed with groups from Bulgaria, Latvia, Turkey, Poland, Romania, Greece and North Macedonia. The concert group also participates in the IX International Folklore Festival in the town of Sofia. Paralia, Greece, which was respected by the Secretary General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Thessaloniki
In Montenegro, a concert parade took place in the towns of Petrovac and Bar, where the young people of Ruse caused a furor with their impressive costumes and impressive presentations. The ensemble walked around the Koturski Bay, which will remain an unforgettable memory for the performers and their leader and assistant leader Nelly Garvalova and Angel Ivanov

In Greece, music and dance works from different folklore regions of our country were presented, which were applauded for their exceptional attractiveness and unique rhythm.

Folklore ensemble "Ruschukliyche" represented Ruse with dignity in the two European countries, and there are already invitations for subsequent events.
