Free transportation to the airport for the spectacular air show is provided by the Municipality of Ruse

Ruse Municipality and "Municipal Transport Ruse" are organizing free transportation to Ruse Airport on Sunday, July 27, for the opening of the National Gliding Championship. The departure is at 8:30 a.m. from the "Mladezhki Dom" stop on "Khan Krum" Str. with an intermediate stop at "Technopolis" on "Hristo Botev" Blvd. The return is scheduled for 1 p.m. from the airport with stops at "Pechatni Platki" and "Mladezhki Dom".

The air show starts at 9 a.m. with flights of ultralight aircraft, light aircraft and gyroplanes. The official opening is scheduled for 10 a.m., with expected guests including Mayor Pencho Milkov, Angel Zabutov - Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Ani Stamenova - Chairman of the Bulgarian National Aeroclub and Vice President of the World Aviation Federation, Nikolay Kalaidzhiev - Commander of the Spartan aircraft and multiple Guinness record holder, Brigadier General Radoyski - Head of the G. Benkovski Military Aviation Academy, as well as Tatyana Obretenova - Director of the Championship and Chairman of the Ruse Aeroclub.

At 10:30 a.m., the audience will have the opportunity to see a flight of a configuration of an airplane tow with a Bulgarian glider, followed by a jump with the Bulgarian flag, which will be flown by the only Bulgarian among the parachutists. From 10:40 a.m., the show continues with the impressive program of the Romanian aerobatic groups and parachutists. Hawks of Romania will present an aerobatic group with Extra 300L and Extra 330SC aerobatic aircraft, while The Pelicans will demonstrate their skills with Savannah S ultralight aircraft. The program also includes MDM SOLO FOX with a demonstration aerobatic flight with a glider and a Maule M7 towing aircraft, as well as Blue Wings Romania with a demonstration parachute formation.

The program is expected to end around 1 p.m., after which all the non-motorized aircraft participating in the championship will take off for official training. The competitive disciplines of the National Non-Motorized Flying Championship will be held from Monday to Saturday.
