Hundreds of citizens of Ruse took part in the festive "Easter folk Dance"

Hundreds of citizens took part in the 32nd traditional "Easter Choir". The celebration was organized by Ruse Municipality and FDT "Naiden Kirov" and included a rich concert program combined with various games, contests and surprises.
"Christ is Risen, dear people of Ruse! May there be health and peace in our families. Let us have the strength to do good deeds in our lives," Mayor Pencho Milkov addressed the people of Ruse.

The concert was attended by the Children's and Youth Folklore Ensemble "Zornitsa" at the Municipal Children's Centre for Culture and Art with directors Milena Mihova and Dobrin Raychev, the School of Folk Singing at the Municipal Children's Centre for Culture and Art with director Svetlana Nedkova, the Folk Dance Studio "Zora" at the Municipal Youth Home with director Magardich Asthigyan, the Children's Dance Ensemble at the FDT "Nayden Kirov" with director Todor Boev and tutor Nadezhda Sabeva, The Folk Singing School at the "Nayden Kirov" Folk Dance Theatre with the director Diyan Ivanov, Folk Dance Ensemble "Zdravets" at the Regional Cultural Centre with the artistic director Dimitar Donev, Folk Ensemble "Ruschukliyche" at the Regional Cultural Centre with the director Nelly Garvalova, as well as the orchestra and dancers of the "Nayden Kirov" Folk Theatre with the directors Dimitar Dimitrov and Bogdan Donev respectively.

During the event there were competitions for kozunatsi, for the healthiest and for the most written egg. And this time for the expected Easter raffle were provided great prizes from Ruse companies - shopping vouchers, restaurant coupons, clothing from Ruse companies, household items, TV, roast lamb and family holiday.
