Hundreds of horse racing fans gathered in Sandrovo

Today the traditional National Horse Races were held at the hippodrome in Sandrovo. The organizers of the event are the Olympic wrestling champion Valentin Yordanov and his brother Ivan Yordanov, Sandrovo City Hall, and with the support of Ruse Municipality.

"Every year the best jockeys gather here to show their skills, perseverance and class, turning the horse races into a memorable event," said Mayor Pencho Milkov to the participants. He presented awards to the winners in some of the categories and received an award from the organizers for supporting equestrian sport.

The audience in the village of Ruse numbered hundreds of people who came to enjoy the performances of elite horses. Participants from all over Bulgaria took part in the competition, and there were also representatives from neighbouring Romania. The competition was held in several classes and divisions at various distances, with cash prizes for the best.
