Kristian Ilkov returned with honors and many awards from the international competition "Silver Yantra"

The performer from the Vocal Studio for Pop and Jazz "Ikonomov" at the Municipal Youth House Kristian Ilkov returned with the first prize for "Best Performance of a Foreign Song" from the 22nd International Competition for Young Pop Performers "Silver Yantra", held in Veliko Tarnovo.
The performances of the participants were evaluated by an international jury chaired by prof. Srebra Mihaleva and members maestro Rocco Palazzo (Italy), prof. Rodica Rosioru (Moldova), Dominic Simionescu (Romania), Kristine Voitova (Latvia), Armando Ghukasyan (Armenia), Teddy Katsarova and Hristo Paskalev – Pascal.
The graduate of the vocal pedagogue Vili Ikonomov competes with participants from Latvia, Italy, Armenia, Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania and Colombia. In addition to winning the first prize, Kristian also received several special awards:
- studio sound recording at the Bulgarian National Radio;
- Special invitation for direct participation in the final of the international festival "Microfon D'Oro" 2025, accompanied by the San Remo Symphony Orchestra - Naples, Italy;
- a special invitation for direct participation in the final of Hermannstadt Fest 2025 - Sibiu, Romania.
In addition to the competition program, the participants in "Silver Yantra" had the opportunity to participate in competitive concerts and attend the master class of maestro Rocco Palazzo. Kristian also took an active part in the open stage next to the Asenevtsi monument, where the master class of the Italian was held.
