Mayor Pencho Milkov awarded a 7-year-old boy, vice world champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

7-year-old Viktor Severinov, who became vice-world champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu for children this year, was awarded by the mayor Pencho Milkov. Mitko Ruzhinov, his coach and creator of the Helios Academy, also received an award for his work with children in combat sports.

At the ABU DHABI WORLD YOUTH JIU-JITSU CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 held on November 11, Viktor was the only representative of Bulgaria and won a silver medal in the division of children up to 8 years old, gray belts, up 38 kg.

In August, the student from OU "Lyuben Karavelov" became the European champion at the AJP TOUR EUROPE YOUTH held in Split, Croatia.

"Remember that your successes are a source of pride not only for your family and your club, but also for all Russians," the mayor congratulated him.
