Mayor Pencho Milkov honored the jubilee exhibition of the artist Veselka Eneva

An exhibition of the famous artist and designer Veselka Eneva was opened in the Art Gallery. It is dedicated to its 75th anniversary and includes works created during the period of three social and political systems. The exhibition presents the diverse work of the author, which includes photographs, fashion sketches and drawings, and paintings. The exhibition offers a unique insight into art and design through the prism of a long and fruitful life.

"Mrs. Eneva's creative path is a vivid example of how art can transcend the boundaries of time, space and political systems to leave its indelible mark on history. Her works, created in different eras, carry the spirit of innovation and power, as well as the individual creative handwriting. They are not only an expression of her personal aesthetics and vision, but also of that genuine passion and courage that lead her through all the challenges of the time," , said Mayor Pencho Milkov at the opening of the exhibition. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Elias Canetti International Library Prof. Penka Angelova, Executive Director of  Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry  Milen Dobrev, relatives, supporters and friends of the author of the exhibition.

Veselka Eneva was born in 1949 in Ruse. He completed his primary education at the school "N. Y. Vaptsarov", now "Otets Paisiy", and received his secondary education at the Art High School "Vladimir Dimitrov - the Master" in Sofia. After graduation, she successfully won an international competition and continued her studies at the Kunst Hochschule Weißensee in Berlin after undergoing training at the Herder Institut in Leipzig.

Immediately after graduating, Eneva became a member of the Association of Artists in Germany (VBK-Verband Bildender Künste). In her professional career, she worked at the Berlin Fashion Institute as an artist-designer and participated in the creation of fashion graphics published as posters, as well as in various fashion publications.

Veselka Eneva has made a significant contribution to the coordination and presentation of fashion collections in Germany and other countries, as well as participation in the styling and choreography of fashion shows. She also works as a representative of the Commission for Light Industry and has been involved in bilateral relations between Germany and Hungary.
