Cooperation in the field of education and participation in an ethno-festival in Taraclia were among the topics discussed during the meeting between the Mayor of Ruse Municipality Pencho Milkov and the Chairman of Taraclia district in Moldova - Ivan Paslar. The meeting took place at the University of Ruse and was hosted by the rector Cor. Mem. Prof. Hristo Beloev, DTSc DHC mult.
The mayor told Mr. Paslar about a conversation with the management of the Secondary School of European Languages for an idea - teachers from Taraclia leading Romanian language classes here. Ruse is one of the places where such training would be well received but the administrative approval of a new foreign language class takes time and could be implemented in the future.
Mr. Milkov explained that the resources and experience of the University of Ruse make the task easier because it avails enough trained staff. At this point, it is possible to think of extended Romanian language courses to be taught by native speakers.
At the end Ivan Paslar invited Ruse bands to join the ethno-festival, which will take place at the end of September in Taraclia.
