Nicholas Nikolov was awarded by Mayor Pencho Milkov for "Sportsman of the Month"

The graduate of the Sports School "Major Atanas Uzunov" and an athlete of the Boxing Club "Lokomotiv" - Ruse Nicholas Nikolov became the Sportsman of the Month, selected by the management of the educational institution. He received a diploma from the mayor Pencho Milkov in the presence of the Deputy Mayor Borislav Rachev, the director of the Municipal Enterprise "Sports Properties" Lacezar Ivanov, the director of the Sports School Evgeni Nedev and the coach Alexey Ribchev.

Nicholas Nikolov recently won a bronze medal in the category up to 63 kg at the European Boxing Championship for students, held in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The young competitor is also a champion of the State Personal Team Boxing Championship for students, held in April.

"Ruse is proud of young athletes like you, who glorify our city at national and international level with their work and discipline," the mayor congratulated him, emphasizing the importance of both perseverance and experience from mistakes and challenges. 

The seventh-grader from the Sports School is currently preparing for the national championship, which will be held at the end of the month in Petrich.
