Over 300 jiu-jitsu competitors enter a battle for the medals of the international tournament "Ruse Open" 2024

The International Jiu-Jitsu Tournament for Duo and Fighting System "Ruse Open" 2024 will be held on November 16 (Saturday) at 10 am in the Danube Hall. The organizers of the sports event are the hosts from SC "Dinamo" chaired by Sensei Borislav Kisev and the Bulgarian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, with the assistance of the Municipality of Ruse.

More than 300 competitors from 20 clubs will take to the tatami. All clubs from Bulgaria, the national team of the Republic of North Macedonia and several teams from Romania will take part in the competition.

It is expected that Tomo Borisov - President of the Bulgarian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and Shihan Tony Petrov - Vice President of the Federation will arrive as official guests of the sporting event. The president of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation of the Republic of North Macedonia Alexander Atsevski will also come to Ruse.

The citizens of Ruse will be able to support Valentin Hasurdjiev - world champion / fighting system, Rumen Varbanov - Balkan champion, Dimitar Dimitrov - silver and bronze medalist in the men's Balkan Games, Katerina Kiseva – world champion, Bozhidar Kisev – vice-world champion and bronze medalist, as well as the other competitors of SC "Dinamo", multiple national and international champions.
