Over 3,000 young trees will be planted at the Old Landfill this Sunday

More than 3,000 young trees will be planted at the Old Landfill near Ruse this Sunday (November 27).
The initiative belongs to the association "Co-Citizens" and is implemented with the assistance of the Municipality of Ruse. It is a continuation of the large-scale campaign from last November, when dozens of citizens and organizations from Ruse took part in the afforestation of the place. In the past year, the young saplings were taken care of entirely by volunteers with the assistance of ME "Parkstroy".
This fall, the planting material is provided by the enterprise and, in large part, by Gorata.bg.
The event will start at 11 a.m. on Sunday (November 27), and will traditionally include various entertainment - music, archery and other surprises, the organizers say.
Those wishing to participate in the volunteer initiative should wear:
- comfortable clothing and shoes;
- gloves;
- shovels;
- water bottles (10l).
