Polish, German and Italian doctors in the second edition of "Ruse Interventional Days"

The second edition of the scientific conference "Ruse Interventional Days" gathered over 200 doctors, postgraduate students and medical students from all over the country, as well as lecturers from Poland, Germany and Italy.
The event is organized by Medica Medical Institutions, Ruse University "Angel Kanchev" and the Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology in the period 8-10 September.
"Medical services play a large part in the confidence, stability and pride of a population, whatever municipality you are in. If people trust their doctors, if they are proud, if people from all over the country choose to be treated by them, it increases the strength of the whole local community. That is why I thank the "Medica" medical institutions that do not stop developing and taking care of so many people," said Mayor Pencho Milkov to the attendees.

The Rector of the University of Ruse Acad. Hristo Beloev, the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health at the University of Burgas and the Manager of Comprehensive Cancer Centre Burgas prof. dr. Hristo Bozov, the Director of the Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment in Cardiology "Medica Kor"- Ruse prof. dr. Dobrin Vassilev, as well as the official guests Ivo Pazardzhiev, Chairman of the Municipal Council - Ruse, and the Regional Governor Danail Kovachev.
Assoc. dr. Kiril Panayotov presented the highlights of the program of the second edition - presentations related to interventional treatment of calcified coronary lesions, endovascular treatment in the aorta and aorto-iliac segment, treatment of acute ischemic stroke - pre-hospital and hospital phase and specialized imaging with cerebral perfusion.
