President Rumen Radev honored Ruse as "Municipality of the Year" for its contribution to children's sports and the development of young talents

Ruse Municipality was awarded the prestigious award "Municipality of the Year" for providing the best conditions for mass sports, targeted support for young sports talents and active participation in the national initiative "Sport with the President". The honorary plaque was personally presented by the Head of State Rumen Radev to Deputy Mayor Encho Enchev during the official ceremony to award students who showed excellent results in the sports initiative.
"This award is a recognition of Ruse's consistent policy in support of children's sports and a healthy lifestyle," said Deputy Mayor Encho Enchev after the ceremony. He emphasized that the award is an expression of high institutional assessment of the efforts of Ruse Municipality in the field of physical education, school sports and the creation of a favorable environment for the development of adolescents.
The ceremony was part of the final event of the "Presidential Test" - a competitive motor complex that measures the physical fitness of students and encourages them to an active and healthy lifestyle. We remind you that this year, 12 children from eight Ruse schools received individual "Young Athlete" awards, and the director of the Student Sports School in Ruse, Maya Petrova, was awarded by Rumen Radev with a certificate for her overall contribution to the development of sports and young people.
