Ruse aeromodelers - again № 1 in Bulgaria

For the second year in a row the Ruse competitors from the Sports Model Club "Prista" took the first place in the team ranking of the National Championship in aeromodelling for children, after winning seven medals - 5 gold, 1 bronze and 1 silver. The competition was held on 17 and 18 September in Lovech and in addition to the club from Ruse, representatives of Gorna Oryahovitsa, Dolna Mitropolia, Levski, Sevlievo and Lovech took part.

The best performance of the Ruse aeromodelers was recorded by 10-year-old Magdalena Tsoleva, who won 2 first places in classes HLG - small glider and F5J-J - Radio-controlled glider. Two gold medals for the team were also won by 14-year-old Ioana Ivanova with a 165 km/h trenkord and a cord aerobatic model, and in the Radio Controlled Aerobatic Model class the gold medal was brought by 12-year-old Bogdan Vladev. The silver medal of 12-year-old Viktor Khadzhov in the Trench class with a recorded speed of 100. 85 km/h also contributed to the team standings, as he won a bronze medal in the P-30 rubber-powered glider class.

In the current year, the Ruse club under the leadership of coaches Valentin Pavlov and Velizar Vladev recorded more significant successes after winning medals at two world and one European championships. Until the end of the season of the aeromodelers there are two last performances left, where Magdalena Tsoleva will compete for a medal at the World Cup and the Republican Championship in F1E class - magnetic gliders.
