Ruse medics were awarded for high professionalism and humanism on the Day of the Bulgarian Doctor

This year's celebration on the occasion of the Day of the Bulgarian Doctor - October 19 took place with a full hall in Dohodno Zdanie - October 19. The large-scale event is organized for the 7th time in a row by Medical Institutions "MEDICA". All medical institutions and partner organizations working for the health of the residents of Ruse and neighboring districts were invited to it.

On this day, according to tradition, Prof. Dr. Kiril Panayotov gives his colleagues a spiritual experience. This time he delighted them with the theatrical play "Do You Swear to the Children?" with the participation of the famous actors Vladimir Zombori and Vesela Babinova. The current comedy excited the audience with its life problems and entertained them with its fresh humor.

Within the framework of the event, before the performance, the official award ceremony of 8 distinguished medics for their professionalism, humanism and contribution to healthcare took place by the Regional College of the Bulgarian Medical Association - Ruse. The chairman of the regional professional organization Dr. Orlin Kozhuharov presented honorary signs, diplomas and roses to all awardees:

As a sign of respect, they also received diplomas from the Regional Governor Dragomir Draganov. Mayor Pencho Milkov also expressed gratitude to them and to the entire medical profession in his congratulatory speech, noting the contribution of MEDICA to the development of Ruse in the field of medicine. "In these difficult times for all of us, the nation looks at you with expectation and hope, because you have a major merit for the well-being of our fellow citizens," said the mayor of Ruse Municipality. The event was also attended by Deputy Mayor Dimitar Nedev.

Many institutions, including the University of Ruse, the Bulgarian Red Cross-Ruse and others, sent congratulatory addresses to the management of MEDICA and its doctors.

This year's celebration of the Bulgarian Doctor's Day is especially exciting for the MEDICA team, because on this occasion its manager Prof. Dr. Kiril Panayotov, a day earlier was awarded at the national level by the Bulgarian Medical Association with the title "Doctor of the Year 2024" in the category "Contribution to the development and establishment of the authority of the professional organization". During the solemn evening in Dohodno Zdanie he was warmly applauded for the recognition and for the noble gesture to give a superb theatrical entertainment to all guests of the event.
