Ruse Municipality again donated a "Cultural Check" to high school graduates from Ruse schools

For the fourth consecutive year, the Municipality of Ruse is providing all twelfth graders from Ruse municipal and state schools with the opportunity to experience the rich cultural life of the city through the “Cultural Check” initiative. From October 6 to December 31, high school seniors will be able to use the check to attend a concert or theater performance of their choice at one of the three Ruse state cultural institutes – the State Opera – Ruse, the Sava Ognyanov Drama Theater and the State Puppet Theater.

The only restriction is that the check is not valid for premiere and guest performances. During the new school year, a total of 1,300 twelfth graders will receive their own personal “Cultural Check”, which will include the student’s name and the school they attend.

The initiative aims to involve young people in musical and theatrical art, to encourage their cultural development and to promote the repertoire and activities of the three leading cultural institutes in Ruse.

For 2025, the funds for the "Cultural Check" amount to 10,000 leva and are provided by the budget of the Ruse Municipality.
