Ruse Municipality celebrates the Day of the National Enlighteners with a festive concert and ceremony

On October 30 (Sunday) at 13:00 in the Great Hall of the "Dohodno Zdanie'' will be held a festive concert organized by the Ruse Municipality on the occasion of the Day of the National Enlighteners. The celebrations in 2022 will be marked by two significant anniversaries of the cultural calendar - 100 years since the first celebration of the Day of the National Enlighteners and 300 years since the birth of Paisii Hilendarski.

During the event, a ceremony will take place where the Mayor of Ruse Municipality Pencho Milkov will present the annual awards "Ruse - 21 century. " On the proposal of the directors, the prestigious award is given to pupils and students from educational institutions in the municipality for outstanding achievements and awards.

The celebratory concert will be attended by the folk dance theatre "Naiden Kirov" , Ensemble "Enigma" at the State Opera - Ruse, Children's Choir "Danube Waves" at the Ruse Regional Cultural Centre, Choir "St. George the Victorious", Vocal Group "Prista", Dance Studio "Impulse" and Theater Studio "Mask" at the Municipal Youth House - Ruse, as well as graduates of the National School of Arts "Prof. "Veselin Stoyanov" - Ruse. Host of the event will be Mina Marinova.
