Ruse Municipality has won a project for energy efficiency of the administrative building at "Kotovsk" 2 str.

Energy efficiency project for the administrative building at "Kotovsk" 2 str. in Ruse was won by Ruse Municipality. The activities will be financed under the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan, with the total cost of the investment being over 1 million. lv.
The aim of the project is the sustainable energy renovation of the non-residential building stock in Ruse Municipality. The works planned for the building include the introduction of energy-saving measures such as the installation of external thermal insulation on the walls, thermal insulation of the roof and floor, replacement of window frames, lighting measures, construction of a photovoltaic plant. After the implementation of measures, the administrative building is expected to reach energy class "A".
The building was constructed in the 1980s and has a total area of over 3,000 sqm. m. At present, it houses municipal and state administration structures.
The implementation of the energy building measures will also contribute to the reduction of the energy consumption costs of the building, to the reduction of its annual operation and maintenance costs and will improve the thermal comfort of the environment. The envisaged set of measures and interventions will improve the appearance of the building and ensure safe and healthy conditions for the structures housed there.
Improving the energy efficiency and energy performance of the building will have social, financial and environmental benefits, complementing the efforts of Ruse Municipality to build a modern image of the city,
The activities are implemented through the project "Implementation of energy efficiency measures in a public building for administrative services in the Municipality of Ruse" through Procedure №BG-RRP-4. 020 "A1 "Support for sustainable energy renovation of public building stock for administrative services, culture and sport", Component 4 "Low Carbon Economy".
