Ruse Municipality offers a rich program of summer activities for children and students

This summer, the Municipality of Ruse, together with municipal cultural and educational institutions, sports clubs, schools and community centers, offers a diverse program of vacation forms for children and students. The initiatives are aimed at active, useful and inspiring spending of free time during the summer vacation and include sports, art, science, technology, reading, creativity and outdoor activities.

The Center for Support for Personal Development - Student Sports School organizes free training in karate, athletics, badminton, judo, acrobatics, wrestling, table tennis, sports orientation, rhythmic gymnastics, wushu, volleyball, sports shooting and weightlifting.

A rich program has also been prepared by the cultural institutes in the city. The Regional History Museum will hold the initiative "Summer in the Museum", as well as a theater vacation with creative workshops in literature, applied arts, theater and dance. The Art Gallery organizes its traditional summer workshops for young lovers of fine arts.

The Center for Student Technical and Scientific Creativity will offer summer activities, applied art workshops, a studio for young illustrators, courses in 3D modeling, philosophy for children, photography and videography.

The Municipal Youth Center invites children and young people to join summer academies in folk dance, wushu, cheerleading and modern dance, and the Municipal Children's Center for Culture and Art continues classes at the school of fine arts and the dance sports club.

The program also includes the Local Commission for Combating Antisocial Behavior of Minors and Juveniles with specialized thematic activities, as well as a number of schools in the municipality. They offer sports games, creative workshops, English, math and Bulgarian classes, reading, STEM activities, preparation for future first graders, science experiments, chess, logic games and other educational and entertainment initiatives. Community centers in small towns also participate in the program with summer reading rooms and activities for children.

Most initiatives are free, and some require advance registration.
