Ruse Municipality presented the progress on the energy renovation of the ''Lena'', ''Ela'' and ''Tisa'' units

An information event was held in the building of the Ruse Municipality, organized in connection with the progress in the implementation of part of the investments under the procedure "Support for sustainable energy renovation of the residential building stock" - Stage 1 of the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan. The meeting presented the current results of three out of the seven multi-family residential buildings - bl. "Lena" in the residential complex "Tsvetnitsa" (BG-RRP-4.023-2180), bl. "Ela" on 2 "Reni" Street (BG-RRP-4.023-2113) and bl. "Tisa" in the residential complex "Rodina 2" (BG-RRP-4.023-2169). They are included in the first stage of the program, with the emphasis placed on advanced preparation and the construction and installation activities that have begun.

Building permits have been issued for all three sites and construction site opening acts have been signed, which allows for the actual implementation of the planned energy renovation measures.

The investments provide for a full package of activities to increase energy efficiency, including thermal insulation of external walls, roof and floors, replacement of outdated joinery with PVC profiles and high-performance glazing, replacement of external doors, modernization of lighting installations and provision of an accessible architectural environment. The projects also include fire barriers and a new ventilation system.

According to the preliminary energy assessments, the buildings in the Lena and Tisa blocks are expected to reach energy class B, and Ella blocks are expected to achieve class A, which is the highest level within the housing renovation program.

The projects are being implemented under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria, procedure BG-RRP-4.023- "Support for Sustainable Energy Renovation of the Residential Building Stock" - STAGE 1 and are expected to be completed by June 30, 2026.
