Ruse Municipality resumes the activities of the Public Environmental Council

The Municipality of Ruse informs the citizens that the activities of the Public Council on the Environment are being resumed, whose main role is to provide a platform for public dialogue, awareness and cooperation on topics related to the protection of nature and the quality of life in the city.
The first meeting of the council will take place on October 15 /Wednesday/. The DOAS system - an automated air quality measurement station - will be presented during it. The on-site visit will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the meeting point for those who have applied to participate being the central entrance of the Municipality of Ruse at 6 Svoboda Square. Transportation will be provided for those present, who will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the functioning and capacity of the system. At 6 p.m. in the St. George Hall in the Ruse Municipality building, the meeting will begin.
The main topic will be the resumption of the activities of the Public Council and the official presentation of the DOAS system, which has a key role in monitoring atmospheric air in Ruse. A representative of the company with which the Municipality has a contract for the delivery, installation and commissioning of the equipment will also participate in the meeting. He will present technical details and answer questions related to the operation of the system.
In view of the logistical organization of the visit, all those wishing to attend are required to register their participation by October 13th inclusive via email ecology@ruse-bg.eu.
