Ruse Municipality will celebrate the Danube Day under the motto "Keep the Danube Blue"

With a series of events on the Ruse pier Ruse Municipality will celebrate 29 June - International Danube Day. This year the motto of the national campaign is "Keep the Danube Blue".

Danube Day is celebrated on the date on which the Convention for the Protection of the Danube was signed in Sofia. The mission of the celebration is to show the importance of the Danube for society and to draw attention to the conservation of the river and its tributaries through various initiatives and events.

Ruse Municipality invites citizens to the outdoor stage on the pier, located near the Vitija Bridge. At 8 pm will be held a concert with the participation of the Cheerleading group "Extreme", Studio for pop and jazz singing "Economov", Dance Studio "Impulse" at the Municipal Youth Home and Children's vocal group "Sun" at the Municipal Children's Center for Culture and Art.

At 9 pm will start the festive concert of Big Band Ruse with conductor Dimcho Rubchev, and the program will end with performances of the Ruse rock band "SODA A'COUSTIC".
