Ruse Municipality with a festive Easter programme

Ruse Municipality will celebrate Easter with a festive program.

On 13 April /Thursday/ maestro Emil Tabakov will conduct "Requiem" by Antonio Dvorak. It will feature the choir and orchestra of the State Opera Ruse, the Mixed Choir "Danube Sounds" and soloists Teodora Chukurska, Andreana Nikolova, Mihail Mihailov and Plamen Beykov. The performance will take place at the Philharmonic Hall at 7 pm.

In the Holy Week the youngest will be able to take part in the egg dyeing, which is organized by the Regional Library "Lyuben Karavelov" and the Bulgarian Red Cross. The merry celebration will start at 13:30 on 13 April /Thursday/ at Battenberg Square.

On 15 April /Saturday/ the residents of Chervena Voda will enjoy an Easter folklore concert of the Municipal Children's Centre for Culture and Art. The event will begin at 5 pm and will include the Children's - Youth Folklore Ensemble "Zornitsa" and the Folk Choir of the ensemble, as well as the Folk Singing School.

On Sunday at 11 the festive program will end with the traditional Easter dance. It is organized by Ruse Municipality and Folklore Dance Theatre "Naiden Kirov", and on the stage will be presented performances of the Folklore Dance Theatre "Naiden Kirov", folklore ensembles "Ruschukliyche", "Zornitsa" and "Zdravets" at the municipal Children's Centre for Culture and Art, dance group "Zora" at the Municipal Youth Home. The host will be the actor Yovko Kanev.

During the festive choro, the citizens and guests of Ruse will be able to take part in the competitions for the most beautifully painted egg and the egg wrestler. There will be a raffle with many prizes for attendees, the biggest being a roast lamb, and tickets can be purchased at the door.
