Ruse swimmers of "Lokomotiv" with successes from a tournament in Stara Zagora

The youngest competitors of the Swimming Sports Club "Lokomotiv" /born 2014/ returned with 3 medals and a bronze cup at the XII Swimming Tour "Mermaid" held in Stara Zagora. Ruse swimmers performed well in their first competition of the year and deservedly won third place in the final complex ranking with their results in the individual disciplines.
271 competitors from 23 clubs took part in the tournament.
In the age group 9 -10 years. The participants swam in 5 disciplines – 50 m freestyle, 50 m backstroke, 50 m breaststroke, 50 m butterfly and 100 m freestyle. Boyan Elenchev won 3rd place in the 50 m backstroke /with a time of 0,37,87/ and a 100 m freestyle /with a time of 1,14,82/. Zhang Ahmed won third place in the 50 m breaststroke (with a time of 0. 48. 43).
"Our children are growing and will continue to build upon. We have a good team and we will prove it in every next race, "said the head coach of the club Deyan Donchev.
The team of Swimming Sports Club "Lokomotiv", which won the bronze cup, was attended by Nikola Nankov, Boyan Elenchev, Simeon Burenkov, Dzhan Ahmed, Yoan Danev, Philip Marinov, Alexander Simeonov, Tuan Mustafov, Radost Marinova, Ivayla Doncheva, Emma Yordanova, Monique Vladimirova and Sofia Kolitsova.
