Salt room was opened in the kindergarten "Rusalka"

Today at the kindergarten "Rusalka" on  "Shumnatitsa" 4 str. a salt room was opened. The room can be used by all 314 children in the two buildings of the kindergarten, and for its construction were used own budget funds, as well as funding from the Municipality of Ruse.

"The salt room will contribute to our children having the opportunity to play and have fun while strengthening their immunity," said the deputy mayor of Ruse Municipality Encho Enchev. He officially opened the room, taking the opportunity to thank the director of the garden Snezhina Nikova and the entire team of the educational institution for their dedicated work with the children.

The pedagogical team of the kindergarten "Rusalka" has already created a schedule for the use of the room by all their pupils. The recommended time to stay in the room is 15 - 20 minutes. two to three times a week, which is tailored to the age of the children. Salt particles stop the growth of bacteria and other types of microorganisms, and are recommended for treating a range of conditions, incl. respiratory, skin and nervous diseases. All activities will be implemented in the form of a game.

The opening was also attended by the head of the Department of Education, Sports and Youth Activities at the Ruse Municipality Tanya Todorova, the head of the Department of Health Activities Radostina Peykova, the director of the Regional Health Inspectorate - Ruse Dr. Alexander Parashkevov and Milena Georgieva - senior expert from the Regional Directorate of Education - Ruse.

This is the second such room in a kindergarten in Ruse. At the beginning of the year, a salt room was opened in the kindergarten "Pinocchio", and next week it will be opened in the branch of the garden on the street. "Viskyar" 2.
