"Sportsman of the Year" awards to be presented

On 19 January (Thursday) at 18:00 in the Great Hall of the Dohodno zdanie will be held the ceremony "Sportsman of the Year".

For another year Ruse Municipality and "Utro" newspaper organize the prestigious ranking of the athletes who achieved the highest results in the past season. It is determined by sports journalists in a special newspaper poll.

The best sportsman and sportsman-applicant, as well as the Coach №1 will be awarded the statuettes "Sports Olympus", made by the sculptor Dilyan Hubanov. The most successful team in the past year will also be honored.

Along with the award ceremony, the event will include many surprises, presentations of various Ruse teams and their live demonstrations.

Admission to the event is free.
