"Spring Surgical Days" gathered again in Ruse dozens of doctors from all over the country

For the second time in a row, Ruse hosts the national symposium with international participation "Spring Surgical Days", organized by the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" and medical institutions "Medica". It will continue until tomorrow (March 26) and includes more than 200 doctors from all over the country.

Before the start of the scientific sections, the chairmen of the symposium – the founder and owner of medical institutions "Medica"  Assoc.Prof. Dr. Kiril Panayotov, Rector of the University Acad. Hristo Beloev, Dr. Ivelin Yotsov, Manager of the University Hospital "Medica", the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health at the University of Burgas and Manager of Complex Oncology Center - Burgas prof. Dr. Hristo Bozov, the Rector of the Medical University of Pleven prof. Dr. Dobromir Dimitrov, PhD

The Regional Governor Anatoly Stanev and the Mayor Pencho Milkov greeted the hosts and the participants, who emphasized the importance of the event as a national forum for exchange of experience and good medical practices.

"Many citizens of Ruse and residents from other regions of the country rely on the University Hospital "Medica", said the mayor on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of today's holiday Annunciation. He thanked the management for the sustainability over the years despite the health and political crises and handed to Assoc.Prof. Dr. Panayotov symbolic crystal of Ruse Municipality.

The scientific program includes more than 70 reports by doctors, specialists in Surgery (General, Children's, Vascular, Plastic-restorative and aesthetic, Maxillofacial and Neurosurgery); Orthopedics and Traumatology and Urology. The topic "Surgery today, surgery tomorrow" will be discussed by professors from eight universities in the country and doctors from over 15 leading native clinics. Emphasis in the second edition of the symposium is pediatric surgery, and their work will be presented by two prominent specialists from Milan, Italy - Prof. Dr. Gianantonio Manzoni, director of the Pediatric Urology Clinic, and Prof. Dr. Alfredo Berrettini. The surgeon, head of the Children's Surgery Clinic at the ''Marie Curie'' Children's Hospital and professor at the Carol Davila Medical University in Bucharest, Romania - Prof. Dr. Sebastian Ionescu - will take part in the forum.
