The Christmas town is the highlight of the festive decoration of Ruse this year

The employees of the Municipal Enterprise "Ruse Art" began to install the decorations for the Christmas and New Year holidays in the city. 940 elements and more than 8 km of garlands are to be placed.  

In 2024, a new concept has been developed for the Christmas Bazaar on the square. "Svoboda". This year it turns into a kind of Christmas town with 22 Christmas houses of different sizes located along the large fountain and in front of the Monument of Freedom. Especially for the new look of the bazaar, the Municipality of Ruse for the first time in 18 years purchased pavilions made of wooden structure, creating a Christmas atmosphere. Their decoration includes 60 garlands and lights for each house.

The highlight this year is the decoration of the Christmas Town. A composition of three voluminous, luminous Christmas figures will be built on wooden structures in the large fountain opposite the Municipality of Ruse.

Two illuminated arches will be located on both sides of the Christmas market. Around the Monument of Freedom will be placed a voluminous luminous heart and the luminous sphere, which has become a favorite of the citizens of Ruse and the guests of the city, where those who wish can seal their festive moments.

Visitors will also be able to see two festive corners on the square. "Freedom", where they will also have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus and his assistants.

There will also be decorations on the main boulevards leading to the neighborhoods and in the central part of the city, and the municipal company assures that all Christmas elements are energy-saving and with the highest degree of moisture protection.
