The Christmas tree in Ruse lit up

Today the Christmas tree in front of the Ruse Municipality building was ceremoniously lit in front of hundreds of Ruse children. The celebration was attended by groups from the Municipal Children's Center for Culture and Art and the FTT "Naiden Kirov.

For the first time in 10 years, Ruse's holiday tree is natural. The new Christmas tree is 7 meters tall, planted years ago in front of the administration building. It is decorated with 1300 lights and over 400 balls and Christmas elements. A specially built structure will protect the tree from damage. The idea is to add to the festive decorations every year.

The lights also shone in the area of the traditional Christmas bazaar, which this year has a new look and is located on the square. "Freedom. " Its decorations include three Christmas arches and a photo corner with 10 volumetric figures. The atmosphere is complemented by spectacular lighting with LED lamps recreating the sky. 

The 28 pavilions of the bazaar are also decorated. For the festive mood of the Ruthenians there are photo frames for photos, a corner with benches and voluminous gifts and a Christmas sphere "ball for a tree".

There are also novelties in the decoration of the neighborhoods in Ruse, which is gradually growing. Except in the central part of the city,

illuminated elements are placed on the poles of boulevards and streets leading to "Charodeika", "Druzhba", "Zdravets", "Rodina" and "Vazrazhdane".

The total number of Christmas decorations in the city is 830. They are LED, low-voltage, energy-saving and with the highest degree of moisture protection.

There are also 7,000 meters of garlands.
