The Ice Rink season starts on November 16, the official opening is on November 18

The ice rink in Ruse expects its first visitors on November 16. This year it will be located on the square in front of the State Opera. The official opening of the Ice Park will be on November 18 at 10 am. The ice kingdom will offer the season's signature grill and mulled wine. Wooden houses with various sweet and salty delicacies will be located, there will be a lot of entertainment, games for children and adults. This unique park last season gathered hundreds of celebrants on the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, and this year it will work again on New Year's Eve.

The manager of the Municipal Markets Municipal Enterprise Kuncho Kunchev announced that the new decoration and its lights will turn the slide into a real Christmas fairy tale. Children will again be able to drop letters to Santa Claus in a specially placed mailbox, and those who want to write them on the spot can take a blank form and envelopes from the cash desk at the skating rink for free. Traditionally, every Saturday in December, 

fairy-tale characters will entertain the children and help them skate, and on December 25, Santa Claus himself will again distribute gifts.

Skates are free this year as well, but since from July 1, 2024 there is a change in the tax rate from 9% to 20% for this type of equipment, this also affects the entrance prices. However, they remain the lowest for such a facility in the country, Kunchev assures.

The entrance fee is 12 BGN. for a session lasting one hour. For groups of more than 6 people, the ticket for one person is 10 BGN. for an hour. The rent of a penguin or a bear is 8 BGN. per hour, and the subscription card costs BGN 80. for 10 sessions. The sessions start at 10 am and last for one hour, with the last one at 8:30 pm.

The skating rink has skates for different ages. Its working hours are every day from 09:30 to 21:30 until January 12, 2025 inclusive.
