The karatekas of SC "Ruse" with the best performance at the European Championship

A wonderful performance of the competitors from the Sports Club "Ruse" at the European Karate Championship, which was held in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca. The fighters of Sensei Kalinov and Sensei Drumev won three European titles, two silver and three bronze medals.

The European champion in the cadets up to 45 kg was Alexander Kosev, who is also a vice-champion of kata. In the cadets up to 50 kg, the champion is Elitsa Steliyanova, and in the boys up to 40 kg, the gold was grabbed by Nikolay Mirchev. Vice-champion in the girls up to 40 kg is Nikol Bilcheva, and Martin Peev in the juniors up to 55 kg, Iva Georgieva in the cadets up to 50 kg and Venelin Mirchev in the kata among the cadets fought for the bronze medals.

With this performance, the karatekas from Sports Club Ruse ranked first among the Bulgarian clubs that took part in the championship.
