The model of school - parents - students cooperation was discussed in Ruse

A round table on "Three-in-one mission - school, parents, students" was held at the Regional Library "Lyuben Karavelov". The organizers of the event were Ruse Municipality and ''Olimpi Panov'' Primery School, and the moderator was Maya Mihaylova from the Association "Bulgarian-Romanian Cross-Border Mediation Institute" /BRTIM/.
Parents and teachers were introduced to the new moments of the school's activities, which are implemented under the project "Integrated measures for social and educational inclusion of vulnerable groups on the territory of Ruse Municipality".
A special musical greeting to the participants was given by the vocal group of the ''Olimpi Panov'' Primary School led by Maria Kocheva. Presented were the activities of the Volunteer Club at the school, headed by Diana Racheva, and the Parents Club, headed by Yuliana Stefanova.
The event turned into a cross-border event thanks to the guests from ''Smeralda Georgiou'' School in Targovishte, Romania, who presented their experience in interaction with parents.
The Director of the Primary School "Olimpija Panov" Vergilia Gruncharova shared how the model of interaction with parents is applied, as well as the new activities for students - religion classes, joint activities with parents, celebration of important holidays, cooperation with the Bulgarian Red Cross, Day Care Center "Raliz", BRTIM and kindergartens near the educational institution - Kindergarten "Pinocchio" and Kindergarten "Rusalka".
The moderator Maya Mihaylova also presented the results of a survey on parents' attitudes towards educational integration and cultural diversity in educational environments.
The round table is part of activity № 6 of project BG05M9OP001-2. 056-0007-2014BG05M2OP001-C01 "Integrated measures for social and educational inclusion of vulnerable groups on the territory of Ruse Municipality" with beneficiary - Ruse Municipality.
