The Municipality of Ruse donates a cultural check to the graduates of Ruse schools

On November 1, Ruse Municipality launched the "Cultural Check" initiative for the students of grade 12 of all municipal and state schools in Ruse. With it, the young people will be able to visit a concert or a performance of their choice at one of the three Ruse state cultural institutes: the State Opera - Ruse, the State Theatre "Sava Ognyanov" and the State Puppet Theatre - Ruse. The cultural check is not only valid for premiere and guest performances.
1,291 seniors in the 2022/2023 school year will receive the check and can use it through December 30, 2022.
The aim of the initiative is to introduce young people to musical and theatrical works from Bulgarian and world classics. At the same time, Ruse Municipality supports and promotes the activities of the three Ruse cultural institutes among Ruse school students.
The funds for the "Cultural Check" initiative were voted in April at the City Council meeting on the proposal of councilors Nora Stoyanova and Kosyo Stanev.The idea is to make this a tradition in the coming years. as well.
