The Municipality's website now points to the "Ruse on the Danube" platform for events in the city and the region

The official website of the Municipality of Ruse will now direct to the platform “Ruse on the Danube”, which provides up-to-date information on cultural, sports, public and charitable events in the city and the region.

The link “Events in Ruse” is now available via a banner in the top navigation bar of the homepage of the Municipality’s website. Through it, citizens and guests of the city will be able to quickly and easily find information about upcoming events in the specialized calendar of the project, created and maintained by Veliyan Deliyski from Ruse.

A main focus of the platform “Ruse on the Danube” is the calendar of upcoming events in the city and the region, which brings together concerts, theater performances, exhibitions, festivals, initiatives for children, as well as cultural, sports, educational, public and charitable events. The content is organized by dates and categories, which makes it easier for residents and guests of Ruse to choose and plan the events they wish to attend.

Along with the calendar, the platform presents Ruse and the region through author's photographs, stories about the local community, initiatives and photo contests that promote the rich cultural heritage, architecture, natural features and spirit of the Danube city.

Part of the project is also the "Products with a Cause" initiative, which combines the promotion of local identity with support for charitable causes. All funds raised from the sale of the products are donated to the Alexander Roussev Foundation for the construction of a water rehabilitation center in Ruse.

Along with the events published by the platform administrator, "Ruse on the Danube" provides the opportunity for any organizer of cultural, sports, educational, public or charitable initiatives to independently add their events through a special online form. After checking for correctness and compliance with the rules, the information is published in the calendar and becomes available to all users.
