The program for community center activities in Ruse for 2025 provides for over 900 events and 385 cultural performances.

The program for the development of community center activities in the municipality in 2025 was approved by the municipal councilors. It was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Law on People's Community Centers and aims at their sustainable development and modernization as cultural, educational and library and information centers for local communities.

The program for next year envisages the holding of over 900 events, the development of more than 300 artistic formations and the participation of community center groups in over 385 cultural events in and outside the municipality. Significant emphasis is placed on the technological renewal of library services through the implementation of specialized software to facilitate the service of readers.

In 2024, additional funds for community center activities are provided in the municipal budget - 40,000 leva for additional financing of cultural activities and 131,700 leva for urgent repairs of community center buildings. The program for 2025 focuses on increasing the capacity and role of community centers, especially in small settlements, automation of library and information services and development of creative and educational activities.

The expected contribution from the community centers' own business activities and projects for 2025 is nearly 270 thousand BGN, which is about 90,000 BGN more than this year. These funds will be obtained through management of community center property, external financing, membership fees, donations and sponsorships.

There are 25 community centers operating in the municipality, of which 12 are in Ruse and the adjacent neighborhoods, and 13 - in other settlements. The activities of 24 of them are provided through a state subsidy, while the newest community center - "Stefan Karadzha - 2018", is currently provided annually with funds from the municipal budget.
