The registration for participation in the folklore festival "Zlatnata gadulka" is open until May 19

On 4 June, on an open stage in the Youth Park, Ruse Municipality will hold the 53rd annual folklore festival "Zlatnata gadulka". The deadline for registration is 19 May.

The festival is a competition and hundreds of performers - singers, musicians, dancers, storytellers of legends, riddles and fairy tales, instrumental groups and folk groups presenting traditional Bulgarian folklore.

The participants are evaluated by a professional jury, which awards the following prizes: a grand prize for overall performance - ''Zlatnata gadulka'' Prize, accompanied by a diploma and a cash prize, as well as collective and individual prizes (I, II and III), accompanied by diplomas and cash prizes.

This year, participants from the Taraclia region of Moldova are also expected at the traditional folklore festival. The Bulgarian community was invited to take part in the amateur forum by Mayor Pencho Milkov during a visit to Ruse of their chairman Ivan Paslar.
