The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizes a conference on "Support for young people with autism to gain independence"

Monday, 18 July 2022

The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a conference on "Support for young people with autism to gain independence", which will be held on July 21 at 4:00 p.m. in the Dunav Plaza building (conference hall, ground floor).

Social interaction and adaptation to the surrounding world are the main challenges that young people with autism face on a daily basis. Integration at school, interaction with classmates and teachers, leading an independent lifestyle, as well as finding a job are difficulties that can only be resolved with a lot of effort and care from a family or specialist. During the conference, guest speakers will present different ways and initiatives to deal with these problems, and how different institutions can collaborate to support young people with autism and their parents in the struggle to gain independence.

The event is open access and is realized within the framework of the project "ACTIvE: Support for young people with autism to gain independence", financed by the Erasmus+ program of the EU.
