Alexander Rusev Foundation attracts new donors

The swimmers of Ilian Rusev - Skuri - Chairman of the Alexander Rusev Foundation, won 18 medals from the VIII National Tournament in Adapted Swimming, which was held in Sofia. The competition brought together nearly 100 participants aged 4 to 17 from 10 clubs. The people of Ruse won 6 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals, and for the final they won the silver cup in the relay swimming - 4 x 25 m freestyle. During the competition, the coaches Iliyan Rusev and Berna Velinova were constantly next to the young champions. "Everyone performed excellently and proved that with regular and hard training the victory is guaranteed. I have been working with some of the children with special needs for 7-8 years and the results are impressive," said Skuri. He is proud that for 10 years his swimmers have won three cups from international and 6 cups from national tournaments. Among the audience in Sofia was the actress Elena Petrova, who contributed to the cause of the foundation to build a Water Rehabilitation Center for children and adults with disabilities. 

Ilian Rusev also received another good news about the construction of the center. It became clear that World Bank employees in Bulgaria have also responded to the call for support of the cause and have made donations to the foundation. In addition, a company from Ruse will provide free of charge its equipment for the construction of the rough construction of the water complex. Excavation work is expected to begin in March-April 2025.

On November 24 /Sunday/ in the Great Hall of the Dokhodno zdanie, Elena Petrova will perform the poetic and musical performance "World and Temple" together with the actor Yanko Lozanov. During the performance, spectators can help build the water complex by making a donation in the box of the Alexander Rusev Foundation, specially placed in the lobby of the theater.
