The young wrestler Martin Iliev was awarded with the diploma "Sportsman of the Month"

Mayor of Ruse Pencho Milkov awarded the graduate of the Sports School "Major Atanas Uzunov" and competitor of the Ruse wrestling club "Yunak Lokomotiv" Martin Iliev as "Athlete of the Month".
"Your successes are an example for your peers and pride for our fellow citizens, and with the discipline, motivation and sporting spirit you possess, I am convinced that you will conquer new sporting peaks," the mayor congratulated him and wished him success.
In November, the graduate of the Sports School took part in the 21st edition of the international free wrestling tournament for cadets "Ruse Legends". He fought in the heavyweight division up to 110 kg and recorded 4 categorical victories by Tush. Iliev also received the Ruse prize for the most attractive competitor.
The initiative for the awarding of outstanding students from Sports School "Major Atanas Uzunov" - Ruse is the director Evgeni Nedev. Its aim is to recognize both proven athletes in the sport and those who have shown excellent results in the learning process.
