Thermal camera installed on Leventa will monitor for emerging fires

The thermal camera for early detection and notification of fires, which Ruse Municipality purchased, has already been installed on one of the pylons under the TV Tower.

The device has a 360-degree rotating axis and features two high-resolution cameras. They are already part of the municipal video surveillance system, and in the near future they will be connected to the District Fire and Emergency Safety Service-Ruse and the Unified Emergency Call Number - 112.

If necessary, data from the thermal camera can also be sent to the Municipality of Giurgiu when fires are detected on Romanian territory.
