"You are a pride for Ruse, Gabrovo and the whole Bulgaria. I think that with your story you can influence young people to be more active, to continue to develop in their favorite field and to believe in themselves," said the mayor.

Together with the coach Evgeni Ignatov the three discussed the athlete's upcoming preparation for the next world competitions and his desire to motivate the youth with his example, positive messages and healthy lifestyle.

For the athlete of sports athletics club "Danube" this is the second world top and provides him with a quota for the Paralympic Games in 2024, which will also be held in the French capital. Stoyanov's run was extremely strong because he left 1. 3 seconds behind the second - Michael Roger from Australia, while the bronze medalist Behir Agoubi from Tunisia stayed more than five seconds behind the national champion.
