Volleyball players of Dunav (Ruse) triumphed with the Cup of the Bulgarian Premier League

Volleyball players of Dunav (Ruse) won the Bulgarian Premier League Cup after defeating Etropole 3:2 (20:25, 23:25, 25:15, 25:21, 15:9) in the grand final of the competition, played in Levski Sofia hall.

The duel was full of tense moments and twists, and the players of Krasimir Mironov showed great character and after losing 0:2 games, managed to gather strength and turn the match. In the tie-break the Dunav volleyball players left no chances to their opponent and closed the match after 15:9.

The Ruse team reached the final after beating Viktoria Volley (Plovdiv) in the previous round, while their rivals from Etropole eliminated last year's trophy winner Zvezdets (Gorna Malina).

Hristo Kostov from Dunav was awarded MVP.
